Join us for the fourth LINE symposium!
This free one-day symposium is a celebration of ECR-led infection research across disciplines and open to all scientists from students to PIs.
Beyond ECR-talks selected from submitted abstracts, we will be joined by our invited speakers Prof. Meera Unnikrishnan (University of Warwick, UK) and Prof. Jonathan Maelfait (Univeristy of Ghent, Belgium).
We will additionally be hosting a career panel discussing diverse career paths inside and outside academia and we are welcoming health advocate Supa Chantschool who will share practical, real-world insights into connecting discovery science to meaningful patient impact.
We are committed to inclusivity and offer carer and travel grants to facilitate delegate attendance, which can be requested in the registration form.
The aim of our annual symposiums are to help early career researchers to: (i) foster knowledge and technical exchange, (ii) increase collaborations, (iii) present their work to a bigger, like-minded critical audience, (iv) expand networking opportunities, (v) advertise opportunities for career development, (vi) raise and discuss career related issues, and (vii) strive for a positive and inclusive research culture.
If you would like to know more about mental wellbeing and other options available at your institutions to take care
of your well-being, we have put together a document you can access here.
Our Code of Conduct applies to all of our seminars and meetings.
