Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Stellenbosch University
Description:
The Centre for Epidemic Response and Innovation (CERI) at Stellenbosch University is inviting applications for one postdoctoral fellowship in pathogen phylodynamics and/or phylogenomics with opportunities for integration of ecological modelling and machine learning to investigate emerging pathogens within shifting landscapes in Africa. Appointed fellows will join the Data Science Unit of CERI and the One Health Program and be part of the CLIMADE consortium, working with large-scale genomic datasets from Africa and beyond to develop advanced analytical methods for infectious disease research.

Description:
The Francis Crick Institute is launching a four-year, collaborative postdoc fellowship in partnership with King’s College, UCL and Imperial. Each fellowship project will be jointly supervised by a Crick Group Leader and a partner university Group Leader, with scope to include a Crick Science and Technology Platform (STP) and/or an industry collaborator.
Postdoc candidates will be invited to contact Crick and university Group Leaders to develop collaborative projects, or Group leaders will have the opportunity to advertise collaborative areas of interest to develop further with potential candidates.
