Freddy is the content developer of the Outreach Team at the Centre of the Cell based at the Blizard Institute. After obtaining a masters degree in Paris, he transitioned into science communication and event rganiser. Since joining the Blizard he focuses on making complex research accessible to the public through educational activities and games (e.g. skinvaders).

Senior Consulting Analyst
Sarah is a Senior Analyst at Protagoras Group. After completing her PhD at Imperial College London where she specialised in respiratory disease, she joined Solici as a Senior Associate Consultant. From there she moved into her current role at the Protagoras Group, a consultancy specialising in strategic decision-making and data-driven business solutions for companies in the life sciences sector.

Lecturer
Pierre is a group leader and lecturer at the Blizard Institute at Queen Mary University of London. He obtained his PhD in Lausanne and worked in Zürich as a postdoc before obtaining a fellowship to move to UCL. He transitioned into a faculty position at Queen Mary in 2020, where he and his group currently investigate the molecular mechanisms of the innate immune response to viral infections.

Clinical Trial Manager
​Tatiana is a Clinical Trial Manager at Medpace. She completed a PhD at the Crick/Imperial College London before joining Medpace, a global contract research organisation. There, she oversees the operational delivery and management of clinical trials and is the main point of contact for the "sponsor" (e.g. biotech/pharma company) wanting to test their product in a clinical trial.​​

Flow Cytometry Facility Manager
Jessica is a Flow Cytometry Facility Manager at Imperial College London. Jess completed her PhD at the University of Manchester, investigating fungal pathogens. After joining Imperial College as a postdoc she transitioned into first working at and then managing the Flow Cytometry Facility, where she strives to improve the facility and make it as accessible to everyone as possible.

Senior Editor
Jess is a Senior Editor at Nature Microbiology. She completed a PhD at Imperial College London and then moved to Portugal to do a postdoc before leaving academia to join Nature. Jess currently manages the peer-review process and editorial assessment for manuscripts focused on bacterial pathogenesis, physiology, and clinical research.
